this was my deciding factor for buying a ps3, but when i found out you had to use motion controls and wave your hands around like a queer, i decided against it.

I'm a huge xbox fan. but i'm very tempted to buy this SKU come november. People don't buy a nex-gen system to play last-gen games. backwards-compatability is no issue. no one was using those stupid card readers anyways. HELLO cheaper PS3!

if you look closely the "new" heat looks to be the same material as the one under the dvd drive. these are made of aluminum, i know aluminum expensive per pound, but this make for a very light heatsink. the "old" heatsink is made of a much heavier metal, i'd say steel. i took my core apart in early 06 because it craped out, back when they were charging for repairs so i can attest to heavy these heatsinks are.
